SGT Cade Michael Wolfe was born on November 8, 1999 in Mankato, MN to Scott Wolfe and Julia Molden. He graduated from Mankato East High School and immediately went to serve in the United States Army.
He enlisted in the Army in 2018 as a 15T UH-60 “Black Hawk” repairer and was assigned to the 25th Combat Aviation Brigade at Wheeler Army Airfield, Hawaii upon completing advanced individual training. Wolfe completed the Regiment’s extensive assessment and training program and was assigned to 1st Battalion, 160th SOAR (Airborne) and served as an MH-60M crew chief.
Wolfe graduated from the Enlisted Combat Skills, Combatives Level 1, MH-60 Maintainers Course, Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape School, MH-60 Non-Rated Crew Member Course, and the Basic Leaders Course.
His awards and decorations include two Army Commendation Medals, Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, and the Basic Aviation Badge. He was posthumously awarded the Meritorious Service Medal and inducted into the honorable Order of Saint Michael for significant contributions to the Army Aviation Community.
Cade is survived by his wife, Danielle Wolfe; father, Scott and stepmother, Heather Wolfe; mother, Julia and stepfather, Dave Molden; brother, Cooper and Rachael Wolfe; stepmother, Amy Anderson; and extended family. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Roger Wolfe.
Cade was loved by all who met him and made a remarkable impact on each and every one of us. He will be greatly missed and honored by us all forever.
